York Castle Museum provides a charming venue for smaller evening wedding receptions, giving your event a warm, nostalgic feel which is sure to be enjoyed by family and friends alike.
The Museum’s recreated Victorian Street, Kirkgate, can host seated banquets for up to 80 guests, with the tables arranged on the main street.
Your reception will be set against the unique backdrop of our authentic shop fronts, packed with historic goods, perfect for memorable photographs.
The Museum can also host buffet receptions for larger number of guests and a site visit is highly recommended if you are interested in this venue.
